She completed her Master of Science (M.S) in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Butler University, Indianapolis. She is currently doing her PhD in Cellular and Integrative Physiology program. Her research interest includes the study of environmental co-exposures and their effect in biological system with focus on pulmonary toxicity.

Md. Habibul Hasan is a Graduate Research Assistant in Hussain Lab and is a Pharmaceutical and Pharmacological Sciences major graduate student at West Virginia University. He holds MS and BSc in Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology degrees. His research interests are nanotoxicology, environmental co-exposure, cancer progression and metastasis.
